Every review on OpenAIMaster follows the same hands-on testing process. We sign up for each tool, test free and paid plans where relevant, and run it through real-world tasks before we score or rank it. No sponsored placements, no pay-to-win rankings.

Our testing process

  1. Sign up and onboarding: we create a real account and measure how long it takes to get to a first useful result.
  2. Core feature tests: we run each advertised feature through scripted tasks and note what works, what’s buggy, and what’s missing.
  3. Output quality: we judge results against clear criteria — accuracy, relevance, and consistency across repeated runs.
  4. Pricing check: we verify every plan’s price, including India pricing (INR) where the vendor publishes it, plus free-tier limits.
  5. Support and reliability: we test customer support response times and check uptime records and data policies.

How we score

Each tool is scored out of 10 across five weighted criteria: Features (30%), Ease of use (20%), Output quality (25%), Value for money (15%), and Support and trust (10%). Tools scoring 8.5 or higher earn our Editor’s Choice badge.

Comparisons and roundups

For X-vs-Y comparisons, both tools complete the same task list so results are directly comparable. For “best of” roundups, every contender is tested against identical criteria and the full scoring table is published in the article.

Updates and corrections
